My coverage leans toward everyday life and travel, with a focus on experience, context, and taste. You’ll most often see:

How Collaborations Work

All collaborations are handled as editorial features, whether sponsored or not.

Sponsored means the placement and production are paid for. It does not mean guaranteed praise.

My process stays consistent across reviews:

• I maintain full editorial control
• I spend real time using or experiencing what I’m writing about
• I include drawbacks or limitations when they matter
• I disclose sponsorships clearly
• I allow one round of factual review for accuracy only

The goal is clarity, not persuasion.

Timeline, Deliverables, and Usage

To keep collaborations clear and efficient, I outline expectations upfront.

Timelines

• Typical turnaround for editorial features is 2–4 weeks after receiving a product, confirming access, or finalizing scope.
• Time-sensitive launches, embargoes, or events should be flagged early to confirm availability.

Deliverables

• Deliverables are defined before work begins and typically include:
  • One long-form editorial feature on this site
  • Optional supporting social content if agreed in advance

Any additional deliverables must be scoped separately.

Usage Rights

• Published content lives permanently on this site unless otherwise agreed.
• Brands may share links to the published piece freely.
• Republishing full articles, excerpts, or images elsewhere requires prior approval and may involve additional licensing.

Assets, Production, and Brand-Provided Materials

Visual assets are an important part of how features are presented.

Original Assets

• I may create original photos and short video clips to support a feature when appropriate.
• Asset creation is scoped in advance and depends on access, timing, and fit.
• Additional or specialized asset production may require separate discussion.

Brand-Provided Assets

• Brands are welcome to provide approved photos, videos, press images, or media kits.
• Brand-provided assets are used selectively and integrated only if they align with the editorial tone of the site.
• Supplying assets does not guarantee placement or coverage.

Usage and Credit

• Original assets created for a feature remain part of the published piece unless otherwise agreed.
• Brand-provided assets are credited when required and used within agreed contexts.
• Requests for reuse or redistribution of original assets outside the published article require prior approval.

This keeps production expectations clear while allowing flexibility on both sides.

Revisions, Edits, and Accuracy

To protect editorial integrity while ensuring accuracy:

• One round of review is allowed for factual corrections only
• Tone, structure, opinions, and conclusions are not revised
• Requests to soften criticism or alter perspective are declined

This keeps the work consistent with the rest of the site and protects reader trust.

Payment and Terms

• Sponsored collaborations are confirmed once scope and terms are agreed
• Payment terms are discussed before work begins
• Sponsored content is clearly disclosed

Details are shared privately to keep this page simple and up to date.

Cancellations & Scope Changes

If a collaboration is cancelled after work has begun, or if the scope changes significantly mid-process, terms are discussed in good faith to reflect time and effort already invested.

Clear expectations upfront help avoid issues on both sides.

Exclusivity and Conflicts

• I do not agree to category exclusivity unless explicitly discussed
• I avoid overlapping coverage only when it creates a clear conflict for readers
• If exclusivity is required, it must be defined in scope and timing

Long-Term Value

Content published here is intended to remain discoverable and relevant over time. Pieces may continue to be updated for clarity, context, or accuracy, especially if circumstances change.

This approach benefits readers and supports brands that value long-term visibility over short-lived exposure.

Ways We Can Work Together

• Selective gifted reviews – Considered on a limited basis, usually for products or experiences I would seek out independently or that strongly align with the site.

I’m open to collaborative editorial work, including essays, reflections, and long-form pieces that align with the tone and themes of this site.

This includes:

• Co-written editorials or essays
• Contributor-led pieces with editorial guidance
• Brand or creator collaborations centered on shared ideas rather than promotion
• Thoughtful adaptations of existing concepts into new formats

Collaborative pieces are treated with the same care as my own writing. That means clear authorship, transparent context, and a focus on insight rather than messaging.

If you’re proposing a collaboration, include:

• The core idea or theme
• Who is involved and their role
• Where the piece would live (this site, your publication, or both)
• Any expectations around credit, links, or usage

Press Releases & Announcements

I accept press releases and announcements as editorial leads, not as publish-as-is content.

If a release aligns with what I cover, it may be used as a starting point for a short feature, mention, or contextual write-up written in my own voice. This allows me to add perspective and present the information in a way that’s actually useful to readers.

How press releases are handled:

• Press releases are reviewed for relevance and fit
• Releases are not republished verbatim
• Coverage is not guaranteed
• Any resulting piece is independently written and may include context or limitations
• Sponsored announcements are disclosed clearly

Press releases work best for:

• Product launches
• Openings or updates related to travel, stays, cafés, or experiences
• Creative tools and lifestyle products
• Film or culture-related announcements aligned with the site

What to include when sending a press release:

• A brief summary (2–3 sentences)
• Relevant links or media assets
• Timing or embargo details, if any
• Whether the announcement is informational or sponsored

Confidentiality & Embargoes

I respect embargoes, NDAs, and confidentiality agreements when they are clearly communicated in advance. Any timing restrictions, launch dates, or usage limitations should be shared before work begins to ensure alignment and proper planning.

Link Insertions & Brand Mentions

Link insertions are considered only when they improve the reader experience and fit the context of an existing article.

Requests should include:

• The target URL
• The specific page on this site for placement
• Suggested anchor text
• A short explanation of why the link adds value for readers

I reserve the right to adjust placement and anchor text to match editorial standards.

Link Exchanges

I’m open to selective link exchanges when they make sense editorially and genuinely improve the reader experience.

Link exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis and must meet the same standards as any other editorial link on this site.

Guidelines for link exchanges:

• Links must be relevant to the topic and context of the article
• Pages involved should be editorial in nature, not purely commercial
• Exact-match or forced anchor text is avoided

I do not participate in large-scale link schemes, irrelevant swaps, or exchanges that exist solely for SEO manipulation.

What I Don’t Do
